ANR HyCareMat

The main objective of this collaborative research project is to develop a model material for characterizing hydro-chemical-mechanical couplings. This approach is based on Wharton’s jelly derivatives, which enable numerous innovations in regenerative medicine.

This project is based on a consortium of four laboratories: LEM3, BIOS, ICube, and LMGC. With co-funding from the Grand Est region, it has enabled the recruitment of two doctoral students, one postdoctoral researcher, two engineers, and several interns. At the same time, it has enabled LEM3 to acquire the equipment needed to mechanically functionalize the materials produced.
